Maintenance Technician III

Chewy is seeking a Maintenance Tech III for our Fulfillment Center in Pittston, PA. This role covers a broad range of facilities, maintenance, and utilities tasks across a large fulfillment center.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment operates accurately and safely.
• Perform periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to schedule.
• Inspect conveyor systems, air systems, shipping, packing equipment, and building systems.
• Handle daily tasks including plumbing, painting, rack repair, cleaning, general carpentry, and metal fabrication.
• Change and repair batteries and chargers as needed.
• Troubleshoot and fix conveyor and packaging systems.
• Manage repair orders and parts usage records.
• Work in various seasonal climates.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of technical experience in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 480/3 phase electrical systems and low voltage AC/DC.
• Experience with building systems such as fire suppression, air compressors, and power distribution.
• Understanding of PLCs and ladder logic.
• Knowledge of standard I/O devices.
• Conveyor experience and powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Mechanical experience.
• Windows/PC experience.
• HVAC knowledge.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
• Ability to instruct and mentor others.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime.
