MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II - TALKING STICK RESORT

About the role

Maintains general maintenance duties under guidance of preventive maintenance and work orders. Occasionally oversees and mentors the activities of a Maintenance Laborer.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Documents and keeps records of assigned maintenance functions.
• Adheres to all company safety policies, procedures and responsibilities concerning accident prevention including reporting any safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
• Performs general maintenance duties, including diagnosing and repairing major system breakdowns.
• Performs preventive maintenance on locks and locking devices.
• Installs and repairs carpet and vinyl flooring.
• Electrical Repairs: Replaces burned out light bulbs, checks electrical circuits, repairs dimmers, refrigeration controls, and contacts.
• Carpentry/Drywall/Painting: Responsible for preparing surfaces for paint, fabricating office partitions, doors, windows, slot machine stands, gambling tables, and millwork.
• Plumbing: Installs, connects, and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, hydraulics, refrigeration, various gas, steam and other pressure systems.
• HVAC: Handles regular preventive maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration equipment, operates Energy Management systems, ensures safe, efficient operation of all equipment relevant to boilers, chillers, pumps, life safety equipment, air handlers, and emergency generators.
• Kitchen Equipment: Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all industrial kitchen equipment.

Requirements

Must possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license and meet MVR requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle. 2 to 5 years work experience in at least one trade required; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificate or vocational education diploma preferred.
