Position Summary
The Maintenance technician provides a variety of standard and skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of grounds and facilities. Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion. Maintain and repair functions of the center as determined by the maintenance director/supervisor.

- Maintain building and grounds is clean, safe and repairs are completed in a professional manner.
Position Responsibilities
- Work closely with and follows directions from the maintenance director/supervisor.
- Take care of tools and equipment; reporting any tools found to be unsafe or broken immediately to director/supervisor.
- Perform all tasks generated by the work order system and document all work performed as required.
- Remain on call, (once every six weeks), for 24 hours a day during the call period.
- Renovate apartments and ensure work is completed on time.
- Must be available for snow removal and is expected to be on site during snowstorms or any other seasonal, weather related emergency situation.
- Ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills

- Must be able to lift, pull, and pushing 50 (fifty) pounds
