Danfoss in Searcy, Arkansas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II. This position provides support to Plant Operations in installing, repairing and maintaining Production equipment throughout the Plant under instruction or with the assistance of a the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician. This is a 1st Shift position.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance
- Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems to the faulty component under the instruction of the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician
- Observes and tests the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment under the instruction of the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician
- Analyzes test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems
- Repairs and Maintains CNC Machines, including Okuma/Mazak/Makino Machining Centers under instruction of the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician
- Installs and maintains hydraulic circuits in Industrial equipment, including hoses, relief valves, proportional valves and other hydraulic components under the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician
- Repairs and maintains the operating condition of all industrial production equipment, including Test Stands and devices used to move, lift or convey product under Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician
- Follows all Safety Rules, including PPE and OSHA
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of (two) years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including hands-on work with industrial, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electronic/hydraulic drawings, and precision measuring instruments to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with electrical components and advanced processing equipment, with the ability to use computer systems for production analysis and documentation
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to follow procedures, maintain accurate records, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Effective team player with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, and Maximo; capable of training others, creating reports, and supporting team objectives
