Maintenance Technician I (Crystal Springs Terrace)

About the role

The Neighbor Service Technician I is responsible for efficiently performing all general maintenance tasks, including service requests and turnover functions, to maintain and preserve the Neighborhood and provide a quality living environment for the Neighbors.

• Customer Service – Ensure Neighbors feel at home, well-cared for, and genuinely proud to live in our Neighborhoods.
• Daily Operations – Complete all phases of apartment turnovers and troubleshoot/repair major and minor mechanical systems, including appliance repairs, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including service requests and apartment turnovers.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, appliances, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure Neighbors feel valued and cared for.
• Complete work tasks outdoors in moderate temperatures.
• Stand, climb, balance, sit, walk, and perform repetitive motions; lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Be available for on-call services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of two years of experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English (or other primary workplace languages) for safety and customer service.
• Basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools.
• Must meet physical demands, including standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity.

Pay

Compensation Pay Range: $27.75 to $28.75 per hour.
