About the role
Sentral is a network of communities offering premium amenities and services in top-tier cities. The Maintenance Technician I position is responsible for various maintenance tasks and is part of an in-person, on-call team.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize customer service through interactions with residents and guests
- Perform routine building maintenance tasks such as painting, electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance
- Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Diagnose and fix mechanical issues
- Clean the interior and exterior of the building
- Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Work with contracted vendors
- May work outside of regular hours
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven maintenance experience or related technical college degree
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Strong time management skills
- CPO and HVAC certifications required
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools)

Requirements
- Ability to perform tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
