Daily Duties
- Daily opening of facility
- Ensure welcoming, open and safe experience for guests and staff
- Provide grounds clean-up/sidewalk cleaning as required due to weather
- Identify maintenance and repair items that need to be resolved
- Provide seamless transition to the other facilities team members
- Set-ups/tear-downs
- Avoid scheduled areas being set/cleared for building use as assigned
- Avoid scheduled event areas from being in an unclean condition
- Perform spot cleaning or remedial repair if needed
- Perform other facilities related tasks as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
- Some electrical and lighting repair, plumbing, carpentry and locksmith functions
- Building and ground maintenance functions
- General maintenance procedures
- All general maintenance procedures
- Skill in all general maintenance procedures
- Skilled in operating standard office equipment and using required software applications
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources
- Licenses/Certifications Required at Date of Hire: Valid Michigan Driver License
Working Conditions
- Normal business hours, some additional hours may be required
- Local and in-state travel, up to 10%
- Climate controlled office
