About the role

As a Maintenance Technician I at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners and guests with experiences and events to create memorable vacation memories in a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment.

Schedule

Regular full-time position. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts (1st or 2nd).

Responsibilities

• Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned (e.g., basic painting, replacing lightbulbs, temperature readings on appliances/HVAC).
• Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
• Responds to and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Participates in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development.
• Welcomes and greets guests, anticipates and addresses their needs.
• Interacts professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Contributes to team goals while following company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy.
