Maintenance Technician - Contour at NoDa
About the Role
Join our dynamic Property Management team as a Maintenance Technician at Contour at NoDa. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure that buildings and facilities remain safe, functional, and in good condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems
- Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures, and appliances
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when needed
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist with building renovations, installations, or furniture assembly
- Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary
- Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
- Valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Required Testing: Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, MVR.
