Maintenance Technician - Bay Pointe Tower

About the role

TRG Management is a premier property management company experienced with all types of housing, including subsidized, workforce and affordable, mid-rises, high-rises, luxury rentals, and single-family. We currently manage approximately 20,000 units across several states, with a portfolio of over 100 properties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office spaces, including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping.
• Responsible for hands-on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of offices and other interior/exterior areas.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in a maintenance log.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Works with general maintenance staff to maintain grounds and keep them free of trash and debris.
• Monitors and maintains all mechanical equipment on the community, including water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machines, such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance.
• EPA or CFC certification.
