Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems.
  • Perform launch activities, hydraulics/pneumatics controls, and preventative maintenance.
  • Support shift start-up and EOSR/communication processes.
  • Work with minimal supervision and ensure all machinery is functional for production.
  • Analyze and measure machinery performance, including continuous improvements (CI’s) and layered process audits (LPA’s).
  • Respond to maintenance calls and troubleshoot equipment problems/issues.
  • Repair broken or defective equipment while ensuring lockout/tagout procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, manage parts inventory, and report continuous improvements.
  • Document process improvements and track production downtime.
  • Perform overtime as required and adapt to flexible schedules.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a production environment.
  • Technical certification preferred in electrical, robotic, mechanical, or fabrication fields.
  • Minimum travel required.

Skills

  • Robotics, mechanical, welding, and electrical knowledge.
  • PLC and schematics experience, including Allen Bradley and Siemens Step 7.
  • Forklift/Manlift certification.
  • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of building maintenance and ability to read building schematics.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act as an independent leader and transition to a team player when needed.
  • Blueprint/schematic reading proficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Safety certification preferred.
