About the role

GRAMMER is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Delphos, OH. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment and have the opportunity to make lasting, positive changes within our team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Automotive area with expertise in all aspects of industrial maintenance, including installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
  • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Operate mill, lathe, drill press, and other machine shop tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools.
  • Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and facilities remain in good condition.
  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts; check fluid levels; replace filters; and perform other maintenance actions following checklists.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Install conduit and related hardware to power equipment, repair motor control systems and electrical equipment, and replace light fixtures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and some knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.

Pay

Competitive pay based on experience. Maintenance Journeyman starting pay is $38/hr.
