Maintenance Technician

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician at Touchmark at Georgetown, you will enrich lives each day by ensuring that all buildings and equipment on campus are in good condition and operating properly and efficiently. You will maintain attractive, clean, and well-kept grounds and common areas, and respond to installation and repair requests in a timely manner. Your high-energy, dedicated attitude will provide residents peace of mind, knowing their homes and surroundings are in good hands.

This position is for the 3pm to 11pm shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings and equipment to ensure proper and efficient operation.
• Keep grounds and common areas attractive, clean, and well-maintained.
• Respond promptly to requests for installation and repairs.
• Collaborate with vendors as needed.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds and moving quickly across the property.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of general maintenance experience in a community setting; healthcare environment experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of appliance, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical maintenance and repair.
• Experience with technology such as smartphones, tablets, smart remotes, smart TVs, and personal computers.
• Working knowledge of business software and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to communicate with team members and residents.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
