Responsibilities

• Mentor and monitor apprentices
• Correct safety issues involving equipment and facilities
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems such as injection molding machines, paint lines, and process water systems
• Use knowledge gained through education and experience to troubleshoot and perform problem-solving on equipment throughout the manufacturing facility, leading to root cause corrective actions and repairs
• Install, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman card preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and/or mechanical systems
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems preferred
• Ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices
• A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional score of 20 on the Cognitive portion)
• Agreement to complete all post-hire required training
