Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in a timely, complete, and cost-effective manner.
• Performs duties to maintain production machines and other facility equipment.
• Checks and inspects assigned equipment during preventative maintenance.
• Reports findings to management.
• Completes work orders and updates maintenance tracking system.
• Identifies and recommends corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs.
• Ensures machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended down time.
• Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Responds quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers.
• Maintain building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping and plumbing.
• Communicates existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Certifications preferred but not required.
• Experience: 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments relating to product quality and equipment repair.
• Knowledge and experience with PLCs, drives are preferred.
• Experience in welding with MIG and/or arc welder.
• Forklift experience is required, training will be provided.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $32.00 - $41.00 hourly and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Schedule

Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm + overtime as needed
