Job Summary
The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This maintenance technician will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions using schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Install, assemble, test, and inspect machinery and equipment
- Repair or replace defective components such as motors, drives, belts, bearings, sensors, and PLC-related devices
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance instruments safely and effectively
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and fabrication projects
- Maintain maintenance records and follow established safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
- Assist in maintaining plant facilities, structures, and utilities
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Experience with: PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems, motors and drives, hydraulics and pneumatics, reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Working in indoor or outdoor manufacturing environments
Compensation
- Hourly pay rate: $28–$34/hr
- Vacation hours of two weeks per year
