Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment to keep production running smoothly and safely
- Work onsite on the 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm) supporting the team, equipment operators, and facilities
- Minimize downtime and improve reliability
- Perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical systems and associated equipment (air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, etc.)
- Follow detailed operational instructions and prints for jobs and setup operations
- Administer the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports
- Determine preventative maintenance requirements for new equipment and train equipment operators on routine maintenance
- Maintain a safe and effective work area and use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Support the Facilities function as needed and perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may work nights/weekends or variable schedules as necessary
Requirements
- Advanced experience troubleshooting PLCs
- Experience rebuilding pumps
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
- 4–6 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical components and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and documentation
- Experience operating forklifts and other powered equipment
- Ability to work within a team and adapt to changing work requirements
