Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment to keep production running smoothly and safely
• Work onsite on the 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm) supporting the team, equipment operators, and facilities
• Minimize downtime and improve reliability
• Perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical systems and associated equipment (air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, etc.)
• Follow detailed operational instructions and prints for jobs and setup operations
• Administer the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports
• Determine preventative maintenance requirements for new equipment and train equipment operators on routine maintenance
• Maintain a safe and effective work area and use appropriate personal protective equipment
• Support the Facilities function as needed and perform other responsibilities as assigned
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may work nights/weekends or variable schedules as necessary

Requirements

• Advanced experience troubleshooting PLCs
• Experience rebuilding pumps
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
• 4–6 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical components and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and documentation
• Experience operating forklifts and other powered equipment
• Ability to work within a team and adapt to changing work requirements
