Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues including HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair, and painting
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests in a high-volume community environment
- Communicate effectively with residents and office staff regarding repairs, timelines, and updates
- Support apartment turns, grounds maintenance, and snow removal efforts
- Help maintain exceptional service standards and contribute to a positive resident experience
- Participate in the on-call rotation and assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed
Requirements
- Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property
- HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing or a related field
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, plumbing repairs, appliances, and general maintenance troubleshooting
- Boiler experience preferred; Lochinvar experience is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage work orders, apartment turns, and daily maintenance responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using mobile technology, email, and property management software

Pay
- $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
- $1,200 Sign-On Bonus
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly
- On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Paid rotating on-call participation required
- Must be available for emergency maintenance needs, including weather-related events and snow removal
- Schedule subject to change based on business needs
