About the role

Moore Tulsa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on all plant equipment in a temperature-controlled environment. This role is approximately 75% keeping machinery running and 25% actual maintenance, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate must know how to run machines and quickly repair breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Schedule

Choose between two shifts: 5:00 AM–5:00 PM (dayshift) or 5:00 PM–5:00 AM (night shift). The schedule is rotating: 3 days on, 4 days off, then 4 days on, 3 days off. Overtime is available as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee setup and technical support of production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including mechanical, electronic, and software issues.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Support the tech team and supervisors in meeting daily production targets.
  • Maintain, install, diagnose, fabricate, and repair equipment, including welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Address maintenance calls across the plant promptly.
  • Coordinate with supervisors on complex maintenance issues requiring additional support.
  • Monitor equipment for damage or necessary repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior machinery experience is required; lettershop experience (e.g., sewing machines, printing presses) is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screens, including a background and criminal history check.

Skills

  • Proactive problem-solver with an open mind and creative approach to fixing issues.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of printing machine practices, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work at a brisk pace and adjust schedule based on company needs.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other employees.
