About The Opportunity
This position is responsible for maintaining the facility and equipment to ensure safe, efficient production and warehousing. You will perform preventive maintenance on automation and equipment, troubleshoot issues affecting safety, quality, or production, and work with outside contractors and vendors. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, and compliance with the Company’s EAM platform. You will also manage maintenance parts inventory, ensure safety compliance, and provide technical support to resolve equipment reliability issues.
Responsibilities
- Support facility maintenance to ensure operational reliability and asset longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair operating equipment.
- Assist operations leaders in developing and executing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support and execute capital projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s EAM platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on project design, supplier selection, equipment acquisition, and process changes.
- Develop and execute the site’s preventive maintenance program.
- Manage maintenance parts inventory, including procurement.
- Ensure all tasks comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to resolve equipment reliability issues.
- Guide staffing, training, employee relations, and performance management.
- Maintain industry knowledge through networking, events, and professional publications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and plant safety regulations.
- Understanding of plant operations, formulas, theories, and measurements.
- Familiarity with ANSI and QS9000 regulations.
- Proficiency in using technical tools for troubleshooting plant equipment.
- Computer literacy and skills in prioritizing work.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow equipment/building maintenance drawings and procedures.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting, with time spent in an office.
- Frequent walking and standing required.
- Occasional travel required.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $62,000–$73,000 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive plan.
