Maintenance Technician

About the role

Maintain and repair industrial equipment such as pumps, compressors, and motors to ensure high environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pumps (e.g., diaphragm pumps, Gorman-Rupp pumps)
• Service and repair motors
• Work alongside plant operators to ensure smooth operations
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues
• Conduct installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical systems
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain proper use of personal protective equipment
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards

Requirements

• 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial, water, or wastewater environment
• Strong aptitude for repairing pumps, valves, motors, and industrial equipment
• Required: Plumbing and electrical experience
• Bonus: PLC knowledge
• Desirable: Welding experience, HVAC systems, boiler knowledge

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Training: Relevant certifications (HVAC or boiler) are a plus

Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting using test meters and other diagnostic equipment

Pay

$28/hr, with 1.5x for overtime hours worked.

Schedule

Flexibility required, 40 to 60 hours per week, averaging 50 hours per week. On-call style position with potential for weekend availability.
