Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on building equipment and machinery.
- Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Repair doors, windows, flooring, walls, and other building components.
- Replace light bulbs, filters, and other consumable materials.
- Maintain building grounds, including snow removal, landscaping, and trash collection as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain departmental 5S housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems required.
- Maintenance, facilities, or building repair experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Ability to follow verbal directions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints (mechanical and electrical), technical documents, and manuals.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in time management.
