Maintenance Technician

About the role

This role supports safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment. The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production quality, working collaboratively across teams while following safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (On-Site in Santa Fe Springs, CA).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect equipment and document maintenance activities in required systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs promptly.
• Support installation, setup, and testing of new equipment.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Identify and recommend equipment reliability improvements.
• Maintain organized work areas and proper tool management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or chemical plant maintenance experience.
• Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or related trade.
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Pay

The salary for this role is $23.00–$26.00 per hour, based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
