Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair industrial equipment, address safety concerns, and ensure the overall upkeep of the facility.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair or replace defective equipment components to minimize downtime.
• Suggest and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, motors, control panels, and PLC systems.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and welding equipment to fabricate or repair components.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems for machine optimization.
• Install new equipment and work proficiently with high-pressure steam, air, water, and gas lines.
• Execute the installation of electrical and electronic controls, components, piping, and tubing with precision.
• Accurately track time and materials, maintain detailed records of completed work, and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-year technical degree in Maintenance background preferred; or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience with a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and working with hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and equipment installation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

Pay

Expected salary for this role: $26.27 - $33.13/hourly (DOE). Shift differential of $0.75 for night shifts.

Schedule

Shifts available: Days and Nights (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM). Maintenance Technicians follow a rolling schedule of two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off.
