Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-in by completing turnover repairs, inspections, and improvements
• Conduct routine and periodic property inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and risk management concerns
• Ensure the property remains in good repair and report physical needs or issues to management
• Maintain working knowledge of building emergency systems, equipment shutoffs, and operational procedures
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols, promptly reporting hazards, incidents, and maintenance concerns
• Deliver strong customer service by fostering positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members while responding professionally to service requests
• Follow established operational procedures including key control, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and emergency response protocols

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in HVAC repair, Plumbing, Electrical, and General Maintenance repair work
• Ability to promptly respond to work orders and other communications (e.g: text, email)
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• HVAC Certification is a plus
• EPA Certification is required
• Proficiency in English
