About the role
Join the team at our Nashville location to analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment. You will use test equipment such as VOM meters, current clamps, and other diagnostic tools to perform repairs on production equipment, including mills, lathes, robotic automation, and other mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair production equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic prints, as well as OEM manuals.
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures on production equipment throughout the plant.
- Operate mills, lathes, welders, and other equipment to perform repairs.
- Utilize PM software to track parts usage and equipment preventive maintenance, and use in-house production monitoring to respond to machine downtime.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability and willingness to attend a local community college to earn a degree or certification with Fiserv’s tuition reimbursement program.
- Experience using a computer for data entry.
- Experience with hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and soldering equipment.
- Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization (required). Individuals with temporary visas (e.g., F-1 OPT/CPT/STEM, H-1B, H-2, TN) or requiring sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent.
- Military training and background.
- 5+ years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience.
- Experience with mills and lathes.
Schedule
- 2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Required overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Pay
Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working the assigned shift.
