Maintenance Technician

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Authentix Cottage Grove residential apartment community in Cottage Grove, WI. You will provide exceptional customer service and personal attention to residents while maintaining facility operations. You will report to the Service Supervisor.

Pay

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Additional earning potential through position-specific performance incentives.

Responsibilities

• Providing an Exceptional Resident Experience:
  • Take pride in the property's overall appearance by regularly walking the grounds to ensure top-notch curb appeal.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with a courteous, professional approach in every interaction.
  • Adopt a 'no task is too small' mindset and be willing to perform any task to keep the community looking great and residents happy.
• Hands on Work:
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and flooring.
• Day-to-Day Maintenance & Community Operations:
  • Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property by performing grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, unit touch-ups, and snow removal.
  • Use smart technology, software, and mobile apps daily to manage, track, and complete work orders.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in maintenance, manual labor, or a related trade.
• Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, and non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Physically capable of bending, lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance).
• Comfortable using technology like computers, tablets, and phones.
