Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial and multifamily residential properties. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple property types, supporting the operations of an active manufacturing facility while also assisting with apartment community maintenance. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, hands-on professional who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working in dynamic environments. Industrial maintenance experience is highly preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and property infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance issues.
  • Support the maintenance and operation of an active industrial/manufacturing facility.
  • Complete apartment maintenance work orders, unit turns, and common area repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance concerns and ensure properties remain in excellent condition.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and urgent repair requests.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Assist with special projects and capital improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of maintenance, facilities, building engineering, or related experience.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or multifamily properties.
  • Technical training, trade certifications, or relevant licenses.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and work order systems.
