About the role
Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for its growing team. Ideal candidates should have advanced diagnostic and repair skills for RV coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and expertise in various maintenance and repair areas are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers
- Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Keep supervisor apprised of work progress
- Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
Requirements
- For those without certification, Camping World will pay to certify individuals in relevant trade fields such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.
- Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
- RVIA certification helpful but not required
- Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
- Possible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- Must furnish own hand/shop tools
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
- Valid driver's license preferred
Qualifications
- Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but considered applicable work experience is also acceptable
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation are key
- Experience in any or all of the following fields is beneficial: Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, RV Service

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. Pay Range $22.00-$53.48 Hourly.
