About the Role
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and help maintain and improve our community. From HVAC systems to general repairs, your skills will create a comfortable and well-kept living space for our residents. You will work with a supportive team and management to provide top-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance requests quickly and efficiently, handling tasks like electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
- Maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems to keep residents comfortable year-round.
- Fix showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
- Schedule and complete preventive maintenance to avoid issues.
- Perform minor pool maintenance to keep community pools clean and safe.
- Monitor outside vendors to ensure quality work.
- Assist with light landscaping, trash pickup, and sidewalk cleaning to maintain community curb appeal.
- Prepare homes for new residents by completing necessary repairs to make units move-in ready.
- Report any safety issues to your supervisor immediately and follow all safety regulations.
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in facility maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry.
- Experience with HVAC maintenance.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Available for emergency repairs and able to work weekends and evenings if needed.
- Able to climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy items, distinguish colors, and hear safety alarms.
