Join our team at 805 Riverfront Apartments as an entry-level Apartment Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry related to household, building, and property grounds.
- Communicate with customers, process company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals.
- Work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Serve as an on-call technician for after-hours emergency service with support from the Service Manager while following company standards.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
- Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain or small areas.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA certification Type II or Universal.
- Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
- CPO certification.
