About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to diagnose and repair electrical equipment issues. This role involves using diagnostic tools to identify root causes and employing power hand tools to perform repairs. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of electricity and a strong aptitude for hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Promote the Company’s mission and values-based culture by maintaining production and quality through the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Manage preventive maintenance (P.M.) schedules and required parts.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure machinery operates properly to uphold quality standards.
- Schedule preventive maintenance repairs around production needs.
- Coordinate machine repairs with supervisors and operators.
- Record preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements
- At least five years of Industrial Electrical experience, including CNC, AC, and DC drives.
- At least three years of PLC experience.
- Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology, or equivalent technical courses (preferred).
- Proficiency in using power hand tools such as drills, saws, and soldering equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and procedure manuals.
- Strong reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
