Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes
• Perform launch activities, hydraulics/pneumatics controls, and preventative maintenance
• Support shift start-up and EOSR/communication processes
• Work with minimal supervision and ensure all machinery is functional for production
• Analyze and measure machinery performance, including continuous improvements (CI’s) and layered process audits (LPA’s)
• Respond to maintenance calls to the line and troubleshoot equipment problems/issues
• Analyze machine performance and recommend improvement processes
• Repair broken or defective equipment and ensure lockout/tagout procedures are followed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and manage parts inventory
• Report out continuous improvements and document process improvements
• Track production downtime and work overtime as required/flexible schedules
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience working in a production environment
• Technical certification preferred in one of the following fields: electrical, robotic, mechanical, and/or fabrication
• Minimum travel required

Skills

• Robotics, mechanical, welding, and electrical knowledge
• PLC and schematics experience, including Allen Bradley and Siemens Step 7
• Forklift/Manlift certification
• Mechanical skills and ability to work from heights or in confined spaces
• Understanding of mechanical safety requirements (safety certification preferred)
• Strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of building maintenance and ability to read building schematics
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to act as an independent leader and transition to a team player when needed
• Blueprint/schematic reading proficiency
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
