Sign-on bonus for new hires at the Terre Haute, IN facility:

• Maintenance Technician I: $1,000 – 50% on first pay, 50% in 90 days
• Maintenance Technician II: $3,000 – 50% on first pay, 50% in 90 days
• Maintenance Technician III: $5,000 – 50% on first pay, 50% in 90 days

Schedule

Continental shifts (rotating schedule):

SV 3B

• Week 1: Tuesday/Wednesday – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Saturday – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Week 2: Sunday/Monday – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Thursday/Friday – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

SV 3A

• Week 1: Sunday/Monday – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Thursday/Friday – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Week 2: Tuesday/Wednesday – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Saturday – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

About the Role

The Maintenance Technician performs highly diversified duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines, equipment, and plant facilities. This includes scheduled, unscheduled, or emergency repairs. Perform regular preventive maintenance and maintain supporting documentation for PMs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
• Utilize Microsoft Office to order and schedule parts as well as jobs.
• Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completed or working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Able to communicate and take direction from management and effectively with team members.
• Attention to detail and legible record-keeping/data entry skills.
• Highly motivated, flexible, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Full understanding of 3-phase electrical and motor controls.
• Troubleshoot AC & DC drives.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machines, noise, and varying temperatures (may be warm or refrigerated).
• Team environment requiring respectful and professional communication.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• May require weekend and night hours as needed.
