Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Technical Lead to join their team in Toledo, OH.
About the role
As a Maintenance Technical Lead, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Skilled Trades, Maintenance, and Plant Operations Teams. You will lead and coordinate maintenance and repair activities for automotive testing equipment, facilities, and buildings. Responsibilities include supervising and supporting a multi-trade maintenance team, troubleshooting automated testing systems, implementing corrective actions, and overseeing preventative maintenance programs, environmental inspections, and safety compliance activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate maintenance and repair activities for automotive testing equipment, facilities, and buildings.
- Supervise and support a multi-trade maintenance team to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot automated testing systems and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs, environmental inspections, and safety compliance activities.
- Track maintenance performance metrics, manage inventory, and coordinate vendor and supplier relationships.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial automation experience with project management experience.
- Ability to work all three shifts and overtime as required.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
