What Success Looks Like

  • Performing general maintenance of all equipment.
  • Aiding in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements.
  • Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers.
  • Communicating with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions.
  • Diagnosing failed components and safely working on voltages up to 480V.
  • Using a digital voltmeter (DVM).
  • Continually coordinating equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed.
  • Knowing how to use PLCs, HMIs, safety controllers, etc. to improve overall plant automation efforts.
  • Attending outside training and seminars for continual education.
  • Passing hands on skills test.

Your Credentials

  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced mechanical skills inclusive of rebuilding equipment components.
  • Experience with performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Basic understanding of facility equipment in support of facility engineer.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting on 480V and below.
  • Basic PLC troubleshooting.
  • No programming required.
  • Ability to read and apply electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Ability to pass Hands on Skills test.
