About the Role
We are looking for dynamic professionals who are punctual, excited to learn, professional, and proactive. This role focuses on basic residential maintenance support, assistance with unit turns, and curb appeal.
Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
- Complete and assist with daily resident work orders.
- Be available for on-call after hours.
- Conduct unit turns in a timely manner including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning as needed.
- Assist neighboring properties with maintenance tasks.
- Pick up supplies from area vendors while legally operating a registered and properly insured vehicle.
- Report to Property Manager, Regional Manager, and Maintenance Superintendent for all delegated tasks.
- Travel to and participate in regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, vendors, and other staff members.
- Report any health and safety concerns on site to the manager.
- Work overtime as needed and approved.
- Train and learn company systems, engage in training programs on HVAC, safety training, and HUD and LIHTC maintenance standard training, State inspection/INSPIRE.
- Must have applicable maintenance tools.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0 to 2 years of basic maintenance experience in residential, multifamily, commercial, hotel maintenance, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic experience in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, building operating systems for door entry or fire suppression, or general building maintenance.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position, including lifting a minimum of 55 lbs.
- Work in enclosed spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Schedule
Full Time, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
