Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of facility maintenance including equipment, machines, transportation equipment, and building/grounds.
- Schedule and manage the preventive maintenance program for all facility equipment and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Manage and prioritize all repairs and maintenance requests to ensure completion in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee and direct all outsourced maintenance suppliers and contractors and ensure compliance with EIMCo safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the quoting of maintenance supplies and parts by requesting quotes, tracking and entering pricing, and communicating with vendors on availability, delivery, and other maintenance issues.
- Plan for new equipment transportation and installation to minimize delays and allow for timely start-up.
- Track and monitor all maintenance records using the designated maintenance software.
- Conduct all business interactions in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality.
- Communicate with Company Chief Executive Officer and Management Team regarding department operations, performance, and concerns.
- Develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department and proactively address potential areas of concern.
- Communicate responsibilities and follow-up tasks with the Chief Executive Officer and other staff when out of the office.
- Accept responsibility for the quality of products/services provided in accordance with the EIMCo Quality Manual.
- Maintain assigned work area in a clean and orderly manner and comply with all 5S procedures.
- Conduct all tasks and behaviors in a safe manner and comply with all EIMCo Safety Policies, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Maintain all required documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on the Hawkeye Metal Spinning manufacturing process.
- General skills with hand and power tools.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask on a wide variety of projects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to routinely bend and squat.
- Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders, or platforms.
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to repetitively grasp.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Working Conditions
This is a safety-sensitive position performed in a manufacturing setting with moderate to high levels of noise due to machinery and equipment processes. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment and may include overtime as deemed necessary by management. All employment offers are contingent upon results of a 10-panel drug screening, including marijuana.
