About the role
ResProp Management is a multi-family property management company that serves residents and owners, managing over 20,000 units with a focus on servant leadership and top talent.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of service operations to ensure operational goals are achieved.
- Complete work orders including repairing and replacing appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide quality customer service to prospective and existing residents.
- Train maintenance teammates and encourage their professional growth.
- Provide input to the Property Manager regarding teammate performance reviews and corrective actions.
- Assist in recruiting and interviewing potential maintenance team members.
- Oversee the organization of the maintenance shop and property appearance.
- Research and evaluate products used in property maintenance and upkeep.
- Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work, managing work orders and response times.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and delivery of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free environment, complying with OSHA standards.
- Oversee unit turns and renovations within set time frames.
- Walk apartments upon move-out to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of general maintenance/general repair experience.
- 3 years of apartment industry experience.
- Management experience required.
- EPA Universal certification required.
- CPO certification highly preferred.
- Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, and appliance repair.
- Trade licensing preferred but not required.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in computers and basic software programs.
- Must have own tool kit.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the property.
- Must have dependable transportation and accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb stairs for office work, apartment inspections, and sales tours (60% walking/climbing, 30% sitting).
- Ability to lift or carry objects for document dissemination, apartment preparation, and moving furniture/appliances:
- Over 150 pounds: Rare need (less than 5% of time).
- 75–150 pounds: Occasional need (1% to 33% of time).
- 25–75 pounds: Frequent need (33% to 66% of time).
- Less than 25 pounds: Constant need (66% to 100% of time).
