About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents, including quality move-in, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention. The role responds to resident service requests and helps deliver superior customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare market-ready apartments (painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, housekeeping)
  • Complete resident service requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge of plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues
  • Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to keep them clean and safe
  • Perform on-call emergency procedures as required
  • Report maintenance issues affecting the budget (life safety, vacant repairs, property damages, common area needs)
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and record activities
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems
  • Attend required training programs
  • Provide superior customer service and represent the company professionally

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • EPA 608 – Minimum Type II certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • CPO if required by city or state

Competencies

  • Ability to work any shift Sunday–Saturday
  • Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment
  • Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages; bar graphs)
  • Follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures

Work Environment

Operates in a professional office environment with standard equipment. Regularly travels between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

May need to stand, walk, or remain stationary for extended periods. Must be able to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, or step stools. May exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, frequently, or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Travel up to 10% of the time.

$39.10 – $46.00 per hour
