About the Role
Join our team at an industrial facility specializing in power generation and sustainable energy solutions. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a state-of-the-art cogeneration plant, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the cogeneration plant to meet electrical and thermal energy demands efficiently.
- Monitor plant conditions using DCS/SCADA systems, making adjustments to optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime and maintain reliability.
- Lead and mentor a team of operators, managing scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Cook up and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including emergency repairs and system upgrades.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in power generation, cogeneration, or industrial plant operations.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance, minor DC and AC voltage systems.
- Proficiency with DCS/SCADA systems and technical drawings such as schematics and P&IDs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a union environment following collective bargaining agreements.
