Maintenance Supervisor - Bexley at Tech Ridge

About the role

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for the Austin, TX area at Bexley at Tech Ridge. In this role, you will manage and coordinate activities of a service team to ensure all upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings are completed efficiently. You will also work as part of the team to complete maintenance duties, diagnose problems, and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances. Additionally, you will schedule and supervise all in-house and/or vendor work and share on-call duties with other team members. This is a hands-on role where effective performance maximizes rents and maintains high occupancy levels by following professional maintenance practices, quality control, and company policies/procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate activities of a service team for property upkeep and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Share on-call duties with team members.
• Use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies, and communicate via email.
• Ensure high-quality maintenance practices to maximize rents and occupancy levels.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of trade-related experience with at least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
• Computer skills for managing work orders, scheduling, ordering supplies, and email communication.
• Willingness to share on-call duties with team members.
• Valid driver’s license, transportation, and tools required.
• DMV and background/criminal check will be conducted.

Pay

Salaries are competitive and based on experience, with quarterly and annual bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. This position requires participating in an emergency on-call rotation with teammates, with a bonus paid when on call.
