Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Waypoint Management Services seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for their high-end luxury community in Daytona Beach. This role involves leading a team, managing budgets, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining close communication with the Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of maintenance professionals
• Managing a budget for property maintenance
• Coordinating with contractors for repairs and preventive maintenance
• Ensuring all units are move-in ready before residents move in
• Reviewing make-ready punch lists with contractors
• Handling emergency responses and corrective actions
• Overseeing pool operations and ensuring chemical levels are correct
• Preventing issues from becoming capital expenditure problems
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and staff
• On-call availability as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience
• EPA Section 608 certification, Types I and II (required at hire)
• CPO certification, or willingness to complete it within 90 days of start
• CAMT certification (preferred)
• Prior supervisory experience managing both employees and outside vendors
• Bilingual ability in Spanish and English (strongly preferred)

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safe operating practices
