About the role

Maintenance Technician responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving machinery, equipment, and facilities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Fabricate, modify, and install machinery, electrical systems, pipework, and structural components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in collaboration with management, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Train workers on equipment operation and safety policies.
  • Maintain safety protocols, enforce attendance policies, and uphold quality system procedures.
  • Operate tools such as welding equipment, forklifts, and lift trucks; dismantle and repair defective machinery.
  • Complete special assignments and review work orders for immediate actions.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent, or 5–7 years’ related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, and work order software; ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong physical ability: standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and using hands for handling tools.
  • Excellent vision and safety awareness.
