About the role
Maintenance Technician responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving machinery, equipment, and facilities in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure operational standards are met.
- Fabricate, modify, and install machinery, electrical systems, pipework, and structural components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in collaboration with management, engineering, and quality teams.
- Train workers on equipment operation and safety policies.
- Maintain safety protocols, enforce attendance policies, and uphold quality system procedures.
- Operate tools such as welding equipment, forklifts, and lift trucks; dismantle and repair defective machinery.
- Complete special assignments and review work orders for immediate actions.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent, or 5–7 years’ related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, and work order software; ability to learn new systems.
- Strong physical ability: standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and using hands for handling tools.
- Excellent vision and safety awareness.
