About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of up to eight Plant Maintenance UAW employees to achieve departmental and plant performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate response actions for machinery downtime issues and support PM and PdM initiatives
- Work with cross-functional groups and Plant Engineers to complete projects on time and within schedule
- Lead shop floor diagnostics for equipment issues and machinery problems using root cause failure analysis techniques
- Plan and schedule downtime maintenance work through detailed task planning and kit part optimization
- Understand and adhere to OSHA plant safety compliance regulations such as Arch Flash Electrical Safety (NFPA-70E), LOTO, Energized Work Permits, and Safe Cell Entry
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3+ years of General Plant Industrial and Factory Maintenance Supervision
- Team Leader, Team Savvy, Project Management, Time Management, Budgeting
- Safety and Health Awareness, Strong Work Ethic, Training and Development
Preferred Requirements
- Maintenance Management Accreditations
- Industrial Maintenance Associates Degree or Equivalent
- Allen Bradley Based PLC Systems Understanding
- Familiarity and working knowledge of Atlas Copco Torque Applications or Similar
- Familiarity and working/troubleshooting knowledge of Fanuc 5-Axis Transfer Robots and Controller Maintenance
- Familiarity and working knowledge of AutoCAD Mech/EL
- Computer skills in Microsoft Suite
