About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee daily maintenance operations, maximize production uptime, uphold safety and quality standards, and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct maintenance technicians across shifts, ensuring clear task prioritization and accountability.
- Develop team capabilities through hands-on coaching, technical training, and succession planning.
- Maintain and manage CMMS data, including work orders, PM schedules, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Audit maintenance documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective tracking of asset performance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues, applying structured root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement sustainable technical solutions and improve system reliability.
- Support capital equipment projects, including planning, installation, and commissioning of new systems.
- Reinforce adherence to regulatory and safety requirements while strengthening a culture of operational discipline.
Qualifications/Requirements
- MUST have completed an apprenticeship program, technical school, or associate’s degree.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Relevant working experience to the role and strong planning/organizational skills.
- Hands-on involvement with equipment and production floor activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in high-speed manufacturing.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced production environment requiring flexibility and multitasking.
- Hands-on involvement with equipment and production floor activities.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
