Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance technician team, including assigning daily tasks, monitoring work progress, and ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards.
• Perform miscellaneous maintenance and carpentry tasks.
• Maintain grounds, including snow removal.
• Handle interior painting and janitorial duties to keep our community looking impeccable.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests.
• Clean and maintain common areas.
• Work as a team to ensure apartments are ready for move-ins and maintain our communities to the highest standard.
• Perform all other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Experience with drywalling, including painting and carpentry.
• Working knowledge of plumbing.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures.

Preferred but not required:

• Experience in multi-family housing.
• Knowledge of boilers (license or willingness to obtain one).
• HVAC certification.
• CPO certification or willingness to get certified.
• Chiller knowledge.

Working Conditions

This full-time, hourly position covers our properties in the Mankato, MN area and includes on-call duties.
