Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department. In the absence of the Director and/or Assistant, the Supervisor assumes administrative, financial, and operational responsibilities for the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Engineering Department.
• Assume administrative, financial, and operational duties in the absence of senior leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field required.
• At least three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Trade school and/or college coursework in a related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Heavy work – exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
