About the role
The Maintenance Team Member plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our food warehouse and fulfillment center. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment and warehouse systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibrations on commercial kitchen equipment, warehouse systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist with the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Perform timely repairs and implement long-term corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Coincide with external vendors for specialized repairs, maintenance, or equipment replacement when necessary.
- Ensure all maintenance work adheres to food safety standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Proactively identify and address potential hazards and equipment failures.
- Manage the CMMS system and assign work orders to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests (where applicable).
- Maintain organization of spare parts inventory and ensure the maintenance shop remains clean and well organized.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, or facility operations, preferably within a food production, warehouse, manufacturing, or fulfillment environment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility maintenance systems.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including cold storage areas and elevated surfaces.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Effective communication and organizational skills.
