Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and ethical standards.
  • Lead, support, and guide staff to promote teamwork, accountability, and high-quality performance.
  • Assist with scheduling, assigning work, monitoring productivity, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Oversee company maintenance and environmental services to maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.
  • Monitor operational performance and address concerns while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support employee training, coaching, and performance management initiatives.
  • Absorb and resolve employee and customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory and organization of supplies, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Attend meetings and communicate updates, expectations, and priorities to team members.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or supervisory training preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory, maintenance, environmental services, or related leadership experience preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in building, facility, property, or equipment maintenance.
  • Experience leading teams and managing workflow preferred.
  • A strong knowledge of facility and property operations, maintenance practices, and safety procedures.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and delegate effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and operational documentation.
  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • Must be available to respond to maintenance emergencies on a 24/7 on-call basis as required.
